FUN1MILL BACKUP · OWNER-OPERATED UTILITY

FUN1MILL Backup

A private, owner-operated utility for storing and checking encrypted FUN1MILL database and deployed application-source backups in the owner's Google Drive. It is not a public signup or fundraising service.

What the utility does

The existing backup tools encrypt a snapshot before uploading it through rclone, using a dedicated Google OAuth Desktop client. They run on the owner's computer or, after explicit approval and acceptance, in an isolated private GitHub Actions runtime. The utility then reads the uploaded encrypted file back to verify its size and SHA-256 checksum. Restoration is a separate operation into an explicitly selected rehearsal database.

Google Drive access

The utility requests only Google's drive.file permission, for files created by or explicitly shared with this application. The owner personally authorizes access. The selected destinations are FUN1MILL/staging and FUN1MILL/production. The decryption key stays outside Google Drive.

Current scope

The owner confirms Google app production status; fresh OAuth authorization, token refresh and encrypted Drive upload/readback have been tested. PC-independent scheduling and cloud failure notifications are being prepared and are not claimed active until actual acceptance. This website is an informational companion and does not start backups or request Google authorization.
